The first carved as stalks of flowers encircling an oval stone with mottled surface, unsigned, the himotoshi on the underside; the second of ivory carved as a rat crouching over a large chestnut, eyes inlaid in horn and fur etched in short strokes and stained black, unsigned, himotoshi through the underside of the chestnut--1 5/8 and 1 1/2 in.
