the two doors opening to reveal a gold lacquer interior and two further doors applied with silk panels, the interior with carved foliate altars and columns enclosing a painted panel of a standing Buddha flanked by calligraphic bands, on a separate stand fitted with two drawers - 52.in (132cms) high, 19th century.
