The first, with a wooden frame, is fitted with copper securing band and at the foot with a leather cup of green-black leather emblazoned with the mon of the Shimazu clan; fitted with eleven target arrows. The second, with a lacquered bamboo frame, is fitted at the foot with a cup of tooled and gilded leather emblazoned with the mon of the Ii clan; fitted with one war arrow and eight target arrows.
