The top veneered in a variety of indigenous woods including elm, oak, ash, yew, beech, poplar, bog-oak and fruitwood, centred by an oval with two hearts and a radiating stellar design with a star to each corner, fitted with three drawers to one side and four drawers to the other, with a carrying handle to either end, on square tapering legs joined by a later ash concave stretcher, terminating in brass caps and castors
