A rare Edward VI seal-top spoon,
the squat, fluted hexagonal terminal with traces of gilding, on a flat section tapering hexagonal stem, scratched "G.H." on the back of the bowl, makers mark M below a crescent or bow*, probably for Martin Bros 1552 - 16.25cm long, 1.25oz.
