A rare pair of Elizabeth I apostle spoons,
of good gauge, St. John and St. Simon Zelotes, with pierced, spoked nimbuses, traces of gilding and respectively: St. John holding the cup of sorrows, right hand held in benediction, St. Simon Zelotes holding a saw, both with broad, tapering stems and fig-shaped bowls, by William Cawdell, 1589 - 18.2cm and 18cm long respectively, 4oz.
