A Victorian oblong gallery inkstand
with pierced sides and a wavy gadrooned rim, resting on four cast scroll feet, fitted with two pierced conical ink pots with cranberry glass liners and a later central inkpot to match with a cranberry glass liner and a small hinged cover on the spout, (for dipping) with a small presentation inscription and crests, by Charles Thomas & George Fox, 1846/56, (the central inkpot appears to be an adaptation done in 1856, at the time of the inscription/presentation), 31oz weighable silver.
