An unusual silver-gilt naturalistic mounted crackle-glass cream jug;
and swing-handled sugar bowl, the pale amber coloured globular bodies over-painted in coloured enamel with underwater weeds and grasses on the jug and two fish swimming amongst weeds and grass on the bowl, the mounts engraved with fish and aquatic plants on a simulated 'crazed' ground, the swing handle cast with leaping fish in relief; together with a matching silver-gilt sugar sifter ladle, all crested, by Frederick Elkington, 1882, dia of bowl - 11cm; height of jug - 9.5cm; length of ladel - 14.25cm, 1.25oz.
