The circular dish resting on a short ring foot painted in underglaze blue with four insect and scroll sprays centering a large chrysanthemum floret and within a diaperwork band, further painting in undeglaze blue on the underside with three 'precious emblem' sprays, a narrow line encircling the underside of the lip and the raised foot--6 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) diameter
