Date cypher for 1893, gilt crowned globe marks, signed L. Solon
Each with everted quatrefoil lip and strap handles, one with pte-sur-pte bacchante offering a putto water from a vase, the reverse with putti diving into the heads of trumpeted flowers; the other with a bacchante carrying water in an urn suspended from a harness, a winged putto offering a chalice at the side, the shoulders with blue scrolls and green ferns, on similarly decorated flaring domed bases with petal rims edged in gilt
