Date cyphers for 1921-1925, puce printed marks, various impressed numbers, pattern no. W8346, ten signed A. Shuck, two signed W. Bee
The centers painted in colours with fruit, within hexagonal reserves, the shaped seeded blue border elaborately gilt with flowers and foliage, the rims with shells on pale-pink seeded cartouches

Lot Essay
William Bee started at the factory as an apprentice in about 1918 and was known as a painter of fruit. Albert Shuck was noted for his fruit orchids and other flowers (b.1880-d.1961).
