Third quarter 19th century, inscribed C.Detouche/Fseur de L'Empereur/Rue St Martin 228 & 230/Paris, the works stamped Japy Freres
The circular enamel dial within a rockwork case surmounted by two putti with a book, a laurel wreath and lamp, the lower section inset with Svres style porcelain plaques painted with putti in clouds, the whole raised on scroll feet
