A RGENCE STYLE ORMOLU-MOUNTED BRASS INLAID KINGWOOD BUREAU PLAT
Late 19th Century, in the manner of Andr-Charles Boulle
With a rounded rectangular ormolu-moulded top inset with a gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface above a shaped frieze fitted with a central recessed drawer applied with a mask flanked by gadrooned chutes cast with laurel leaves and drawers and inlaid with foliate scrolling panels on cabriole legs and ormolu-cloven feet applied at the knees with grotesque masks
30in. (78cm.) high, 77in. (196cm.) wide, 39in. (100cm.) deep
