Richard Claude Belt (1851-1920) worked on the group of Asia for the Albert Memorial. He also won the competition for his statue of Lord Byron in Hyde Park. He worked on many public commissions and exhibited his works at the Royal Academy and the Grafton Gallery between 1873 and 1885.
