The cartouche-shaped lacquer panel decorated with pavilions and trees and supporting two fluted vessels for inkwells with pierced glazed lids and central open vessel, all decorated with flowers in a Kakiemon palette on a white ground and mounted with oak sprigs and acanthus, the rear with a seated Chinaman on a rockwork C-scroll plinth issuing a foliate candlearm, on foliate C-scroll pierced feet, the candlestick probably originally removable, one bowl Japanese
