Terre de Lorraine, probably late 18th/19th Century

A terracotta bust of a courtly lady, shown bust length, her hair tied with pearl strands and a plume, wearing a three-string pearl choker, her low-cut bodice with further pearled decoration, flanked by an extensive trim, on an integrally-cast square bomb pedestal, the scrolled foliate angles framing a panel hung with ribbon-tied trophies, emblematic of Hunting and Music, on a stepped spreading plinth
