The central stem with ring-handle above an entrelac-panelled block issuing the adjustable cartouche-form screen with pearled border, now inset with a panel of green silk embroidered with a bird, the adjustable scroll arm with acanthus-cast backplate and reeded urn-form bobche cast with stiff-leaves and with beaded drip-pan, above a galleried platform supported by garlanded ram's-masks and above a spirally-fluted base edged with beading and acanthus, on a square fluted plinth with bellflower-form feet
