The rectangular top with slightly raised three-quarter gallery enclosing a panel depicting Diana flanked by attendants in an extensive landscape, above three drawers, the top drawer fitted with a hinged green leather-lined writing-surface flanked by compartments, the front and sides depicting naive village landscapes above an acanthus spray apron, the reverse inlaid with a ribbon-tied spray of flowers, on drapery-swagged square tapering legs with block sabots, the top possibly originally sliding
