The first each with four-color gold chased floral borders, one with a gold blade, the other with steel blade, in fitted shagreen case, marked on blade with charge and discharge of Jean Franois Kalandrin; the second with gold-inlaid mother-of-pearl handle carved in trellis pattern with shell terminal, with detachable gold blade and another of steel, the gold blade marked with spurious warden's mark and maker's mark, also with illegible mark
