A MARSEILLES (FAUCHIER) FAIENCE YELLOW-GROUND BALUSTER VASE
Circa 1760, possibly Marseilles or Montpelier
Painted in the grand feu palette with trailing bouquets of blue flowers on the yellow ground; together with two French faience custard cups and covers, circa 1760, one Strasbourg, the other probably St Clement, both painted with flowers; and a faience bottle cooler bearing spurious marks for Joseph Robert of Marseille and painted with vignettes of gallants and companions
