The superstructure within a stepped top and a secret lid above a checkered frieze above a pair of tambour doors enclosing pigeon holes and drawers flanked by half-turned stop-fluted columnar uprights headed by Corinthian capitals, flanked by two pairs of drawers, the demilune base with a white-marble top above a faux-fluted edge over a central frieze drawer flanked by swing-out drawers over a pair of stop-fluted doors flanked by similar tambour doors enclosing a shelf and fitted with four secret drawers, on rectangular tapering legs and ball feet
