The later rectangular breche violette marble top above a panelled frieze centered by a beaded medallion boldly carved with a patera flanked by foliate trails, with similarly carved sides, on turned tapering stop-fluted legs headed by flowerheads, with beaded swags and ring-turned ovoid feet, indistinctly inscribed 783/MA.../EST
