Cylindrical, the lower body chased with acanthus, the flat domed cover applied with a cut-card leaf and with a cast mask and scroll thumbpiece, the scroll handle applied with a beaded rat-tail and with a shield-shaped terminal, the upper handle join pierced with scrolls, the front engraved with a coat-of-arms within foliate mantling, marked near rim, on cover and on handle
