A SMALL BEIJING ENAMEL IMPERIAL FAMILLE ROSE BOTTLE VASE
BLUE ENAMEL QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE-SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD

The vase is finely enamelled to each side of the globular body with four vignettes of rocky landscape scenes, all within a scalloped rim frame reserved on a yellow-ground enriched with a dense floral-scroll, all below divisional circular bands on the lower neck, the waisted cylindrical neck decorated under the metal-bound rim with classic-scrolls against a yellow-ground above a band of overlapping plantain leaves (enamel losses overpainted)
