Finely enamelled on two faces with panels enclosing landscape scenes, with further panels to the ends with birds and flowers, the pierced cover with a central shou character encircled with the wufu and clouds, the interior enamelled turquoise and fitted with a deep metal tray to hold ambers (handle replaced, break to cover repaired)
