A RARE CARVED YAOZHOU COSMETIC BOX AND COVER

The box is raised on a short foot, applied on the interior with three small moulded receptacles separated by three curved stems, the slightly domed cover carved with a central flowerhead borne on and encircled by a leafy scrolling vine, the box covered overall in an olive-green glaze thining to mustard-yellow tones at extremities, the rims unglazed, the base covered in a reddish wash
