A RARE EARLY MING BLUE AND WHITE SAUCER DISH

The dish is painted at the centre of the interior with a single lingzhi spray within triple circles, surrounded by a continuous camellia scroll with six flower-heads borne on leafy vines, the well is undecorated, the flat everted rim decorated with a key-fret border, the exterior painted with a band of lotus lappets enclosing trefoils, the base unglazed and burnt orange in the firing (crack to rim)
