The vase is formed with a generous rounded body raised on a splayed circular foot, decorated around the shoulder in cross-section with a singular bow-string before a waisted neck, flanked at either side with stylised elephant-head handles, covered in a thick crimson glaze infused with various depths of purple-blue streaks thinning at extremities
