A Viennese silver, enamel, gem-set, bead-pearl, onyx and lapis-lazuli timepiece

Surmounted by a god drawn by a pair of winged lions riding clouds, flanked by a seated female figure playing the lute and a seated female huntress, the barrel-shaped case centred by a circular enamel dial, the fusée movement inscribed Johann Mäyer/in Wien with verge escapement and pierced balanced cock, supported by six columns flanked to each side by a baluster vase with spreading foliage, above a serpentine shaped centre table, on four scroll feet, on a lapis lazuli and gem-set shaped rectangular spreading plinth
