Lieutenant Frederick Reininger was born in Vienna, the son of Adolph and Adele Reininger of Luderitzbucht who later settled in South West Africa. Killed in action on 3.9.1916, aged 25 years, he was buried in Villers-Bretonneux Cemetery.
