A Victorian Officer's Sword of the Warwickshire Rifle Volunteers
With 32in. slightly-curved blade by W. SADLER & CO. etched with foliate decoration, VR cypher and Bugle-horn above inscription 1st WARWICK R.V., pierced steel guard incised with VR cypher above a Bugle-horn and scrolls inscribed WARWICKSHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS, wire-bound fishskin grip, with extended pommel in lieu of back-strap, black leather knot and steel scabbard.
