Two Continental Headdress Items
A Prussian Cuirassier's modified tombak helmet of the Garde du Corps or GKR, complete with its white metal Garde Star but lacking its lining, chinscales, cockades and other fittings, the Eagle and spike- base now removed and the circular aperture in the top of the skull edged with a white metal binding; and an Austrian officer's black cloth shako by Wilhelm Beck & Shne, edged round the top with a row of gold national lace 45mm wide, bearing the Imperial Arms of Austria in gilt metal (no chinstrap or boss)
