Corporal Ludwig Wust is listed under the 2nd Light Dragoons (Colonial List) on the published Military General Service Medal Roll 1793-1814 (Mullen, 1990). However on the accumulation of lists that comprise the Military General Service Medal records at the Public Record Office, his name appears a number of times with the entries cross-referred and his Regiment variously given as 1st Light Dragoons and 2nd Light Dragoons. His application for the Medal appears on the Colonial List as it was submitted via the Consulate at Frankfurt. A Corporal Lewis Wust is shown as wounded on the Waterloo Roll, whilst serving with Captain Ramdohr's No. 9 Troop.
