Lot Essay

The Reverend Thomas Arthur Jenkins completed his education at the University of Wales and was ordained in 1935. Pre-War the Curate of Buckley and Roath, he joined the R.A.F.V.R. as a Chaplain in February 1940 and remained with the Branch until 1948, in which latter year he was appointed to the R.A.F. Advanced to the equivalent rank of Wing Commander in February 1954, following service in Malaya, Jenkins retired in February 1963 and died in 1977.
