R.N.L.I. Medal 15.6.1869 'Mr. Wright swam ashore from the Greenock barque Alceste with a line after she had gone ashore in a heavy sea at Portlaine Bay, Bingower, Co. Donegal, Ireland. 15 crew members were rescued by this means'.
