A GEORGE II SCOTTISH TEAPOT,
MAKER'S MARK OF CHARLES DICKSON, EDINBURGH 1748 of inverted pear shape on a circular spreading foot, chased around the upper body with floral scrolls and two rocaille cartouches, one later crested *, assay masters mark of Hugh Gordon - 17cm high, 23oz.
* Crest is that of Berry for Sir William Berry (1879-1954), later created 1st Baron Camrose, 1929 and 1st Viscount Camrose in 1941.
