With crabstock handle and spout, the finial as a bird in flight, sprigged with strapwork motifs, the shoulder with a band of scrollwork lappets, raised on paw feet headed with lion masks, 4.3/8in. (11.1cm.) high; together with a similar teapot and cover of squat cylindrical form moulded with two registers of alternating panels of flowering branches and a scallop shell, divided by bands of foliate decoration, enriched in underglaze blue, 4in.
