THREE BLACK BASALTES TEAPOTS AND COVERS
Circa 1800, two with impressed uppercase mark for Wedgwood
The first pear-shaped pot with wish-bone handle and button finial centering radiating stiff leaves, similar leaves around the lower portion of the pot, moulded and sprigged with classical medallions, 5in. (14cm.) high; the second of squat cylindrical form with widow finial, decorated with vertical stripes, 3in. (9.9cm.) high; the third a Yorkshire example, probably David Dunderdale & Co., of serpertine form with sliding cover, moulded in the neoclassical style (3)
