Maker's mark of Anthony de Rooy, Amsterdam, 1746; counterfeited marks, 19th Century
On three scroll high feet, spreading shaped circular border, pierced into scrolls and leaves, engraved with trelliswork and foliage, scroll and shell rim, copper liner, wooden baluster handle; the tray shaped circular with rope border, a chased and engraved band of artillery enclosing the plain centre
