The top inset with a panel of leather, with a moulded edge and rocaille clasps to the angles, the shaped frieze fitted with three quarter-veneered drawers flanking acanthus sprays, with dummy drawers to the reverse and a mask to either end, on slender cabriole legs headed with palmette, husk and foliate scroll decoration and trailing to foliate sabots, the underside of the central drawer stamped twice Perthomier
