Of balloon-shape, the mounts to the angles cast with rocaille ornament, with foliate branching finial, the cast dial inset with Roman and Arabic enamelled numerals, the centre signed FIAULT A Paris, with blued steel pointers, the glazed door frame cut with the reclining figure of Diana the Huntress, the twin train movement with countwheel strike on a bell and silk suspension, the backplate engraved with the makers name, the wood back panel to the case stampled F. GOYER, with the matching bracket en suite
the clock -- 32in. (81cm) high; with bracket -- 45in. (114cm.) high
