The rectangular case modelled with the figure of a classically draped young maiden seated at a table reading from a volume, the circular white enamel Arabic dial signed and inscribed Boulu e pe. de Lepine. Hger. de Limperatrice a Paris, Roue de Roule pres celle Betizv no. 4, the twin-train movement with silk suspension and count-wheel strike on a bell, on a marmo verde antico plinth, with toupie feet
