Attributed to John Haley Bellamy (1836-1914), Kittery Point, ME; Charlestown, MA; Portsmouth, NH; early 20th century
Carved in the half-round with articulated feather, eyes, beak and tongue, the eagle's head turned up and facing proper right with open beak above a painted banner and flanked by spread wings
