The gilded broken swan's-neck pediment terminating in carved rosettes issuing acanthus leaves and centering a spreadwinged eagle perched on a rocaille plinth above a scallop-carved pediment over a rectangular plate surrounded by a shaped gilt frame with similar carving, flanked by carved gilt tendrils

The backboard has remnants of a label that John Elliott, Jr. used from 1796-1803 while working from No. 60 South Front Street.
