A PAIR OF SPODE ORNITHOLOGICAL SKY-BLUE GROUND ICEPAILS, COVERS AND LINERS
Circa 1815, iron-red uppercase mark, pattern no. 1979
Each of squat campana form with everted mouth and gilt reeded bracket handles, the cover rim, mouth, body and circular foot moulded and reserved with flower sprays on the sky-blue ground further painted in colours with feathers, the neck painted with three vignettes of birds in landscape vignettes of their natural habitat, named in iron-red in English on the underside
