AN IRISH CLEAR GLASS SHIP'S DECANTER
Circa 1810
The compressed pear-form body with ribbed sides, triple ringed neck and rosette-cut mushroom-shaped stopper, 8in. (21cm.) high; a Brierley ship's decanter, 8in. (21cm.) high; together with an Anglo-Irish cut glass pitcher, circa 1800, of swelling cylindrical form on flaring disc foot, cut with a continuous band of star-form rosettes and vines between foliate borders, 9in. (23cm.) high; and an English etched glass claret jug and stopper, circa 1880, of flattened globular form with ribbed loop handle, labelled for Claret, the capital letters as branches and issuing flowering vines, 10in.
