The crossbanded gilt-tooled green leather-inset rectangular top, above three panelled frieze drawers, over two ranges of three graduated drawers, the reverse with three drawers over two panelled cabinet doors, each enclosing a shelf, on a molded base, the original locks stamped VR/PATENT with a crown, the brasses and four locks replaced
