The crossbanded Greek key decorated black leather-inset top, above a frieze set with masks and a drawer, on a flaring acanthus and laurel- sheathed stem with with fluted drum foot, on an inswept tripartite base set on each side with a rosette flanked by opposed palmettes and on each end with a mask, on paw feet, inscribed in red ink 274-18.30, remounted, formerly with casters
