A PAIR OF NORTHERN EUROPEAN BRASS-MOUNTED PLUM-PUDDING MAHOGANY BOOKCASE-CABINETS
Basically early 19th century and origianlly fitted
Each molded cornice with outset corners, above a conforming frieze and a pair of glazed doors lined with yellow silk and set with crossed brass rods, enclosing three shelves, above a fall-front drawer and a pair of panelled doors enclosing a shelf, flanked by concave pilasters, each set with a brass rod on a plinth the cornice, doors, and base with brass trim, the sides, central panels to the lower doors and brass mounts later
