Original cloth, decorated in blind, gilt-lettering on the spine. Provenance: James David Butler, the author's brother, presentation inscription on the free endpaper; William H. Ordway, MD, 20th century bookplate. FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST AMERICAN TREATISE ON OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY, PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed by the author to his brother.
